| Intro | Treatment of Liver disease in Korean Medicine has been practiced for a very long time, as can be seen in the medical text Huangdineijing, written in BC 3C. After the establishment of the Department of Liver System at the Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Medical Center in 1978, the field has developed full-scale since adding various basic tests(blood text, biochemical test, molecular biology, endocrine, sonograph, CT) to the accumulated experience. The threefold method of research with literature research, clinical application and building experimental evidence, will provide an opportunity to gain new perspective in the conventional medical belief that herbal medicinals are harmful to liver conditions. |
